AJ Dybantsa
After watching Peterson light it up in Summer League so far, AJ showed out. He showed off his expertise in drawing fouls, solid ballhandling, and solid passing vision. We all know AJ can get it done as a scorer, but seeing some of his upside traits pop is exciting.
If AJ can keep up this foul drawing and high volume shot creation, he can be a great dynasty asset. He might only be truly elite in a few categories, but his long term value as a scorer will keep him relevant.

Darryn Peterson
He had a very rough first quarter, but turned it around a bit throughout the game. The efficiency was not great, but the tough shot making ability showed itself more than once. Peterson’s biggest swing skill is his playmaking, and he continues to show upside flashes this summer. Part of it is his extremely high on-ball usage, but the vision is clearly there.
If Darryn hits his high-end outcomes, he can realistically become a top 10 dynasty asset in short order. Keep an eye on his role to start the season, because there is no ceiling on his game. His turnovers have been rough, which is worth monitoring.

Morez Johnson Jr.
Morez Made his Summer League debut and showed out. He put up huge numbers on great efficiency. Even more impressive, he looked great as a defensive playmaker, and showed the motor that everyone was high on predraft.
He picked up some competition for opportunity after the draft in Santi Aldama. However, Dusty May helped to decide on drafting Morez for a reason. Long term, he is one of the better players in a potentially generational class… This game just helped us visualize it.

Yaxel Lendeborg
Yaxel has continued to look great throughout Summer League, and we saw much of the same against former teammate Morez Johnson. We always knew Yaxel would come into the league with a super polished game, but he has exceeded our expectations. He looked great as a downhill threat, and showed promise as a playmaker.
If he can crack the rotation in a big way, Yaxel will be instantly impactful as a fantasy and dynasty basketball player. We have him ranked quite high, despite coming in as an older rookie.

Ebuka Okorie
I love this spot for Okorie, who can provide a spark off the bench for the Pistons alongside Daniss Jenkins. Okorie was possible the most underrated player in college, and is an elite rim finisher and ball handler.
Okorie just put up a great game against the 76ers, where he showed off his creation ability. We are quite high on Okorie, for all the reasons he made apparent in this game film.

LaBaron Philon
Philon came into the draft as a fan favorite, and got an interesting landing spot in Philly. His fit with Maxey and Edgecombe is yet to be seen, but his recent game is notable. Philon is a microwave scorer, but playmaking will likely be his largest swing skill.
He just showed he can get it done as a passer. The efficiency wasn’t perfect, but he made enough threes to inspire some confidence.
