The Snap Room
Was he not good, or was he not out there? Every pass-catcher and back in 2026, read down the chain of denominators rather than through the one number that hides it.
Targets divided by routes. The third rung, and the one that survives a snap count: it asks whether the ball came when he ran. Every pass-catcher and back over the route floor. Positions are read together, so a tight end with a receiver's route rate sits where he has earned to sit. 0 players clear 100 routes in this cut.
The snap sheet counts routes, not chances. A target share is one number with three different players behind it, so every rate here is read per route run and each rung is drawn from the rung above it: two shares, then targets per route.

The ladder
A target share is one number and three different players sit behind the same value. Each rung below is drawn from the rung above it — snaps to routes as shares, routes to targets as a rate, targets per route — so where the opportunity is lost is a place on the chain rather than a guess. The middle number on each rung is this cohort’s median — every pass-catcher and back, over 100 routes, 0 players.

The denominators, named
- Regular season only. This season ran 18 regular weeks. The source table files every row as regular season including the four playoff rounds, so the phase is decided by the week number: 0 playoff rows are out.
- Games he actually played on offense. A man who dressed and played only special teams did not play an offensive snap, so his team’s snaps that day are not in his denominator: 110 zero-snap rows are out.
- Tracking is conditional. 0 of 0 players on screen carry a tracked receiving row. Backs are not charted at any route volume, and a receiver under the league’s own publishing threshold has none. Every empty tracking cell says which.
- Two sources agree. Target counts here come from the usage centre; league tracking counts them independently. On the 0 players carrying both, the two agree on 0.
- Post-game. This board paints on the 5:00 AM ET overnight pass, after each game. Nothing here is live.
