Our rankings use a two-signal blended model designed to balance expert wisdom with real market sentiment.

How does the trade calculator work?
Each player is assigned a dynasty market value derived from the blended rankings model. The trade calculator then evaluates packages using diminishing returns to reflect how multi-player trades actually work.
Multi-Asset Trade Logic

Position scarcity (catcher, shortstop) and age curves (hitter peak 27-30, pitcher peak 28-32) are also factored into the final valuation.

Absolutely. Minor league coverage is a core part of the Dynatyze MLB platform, because dynasty baseball is won and lost in the prospect pool.

How do you handle pitchers vs hitters?
Pitchers and hitters have fundamentally different age curves and scarcity profiles. We model them separately.
Hitter Age Curves
Peak: 27-30 | Gradual decline starts at 31. Catcher aging accelerates faster (peak 25-28). Sprint speed decline is a key leading indicator for OF/IF value drops.
Pitcher Age Curves
Peak: 28-32 | More volatile due to injury risk. Velocity trends, spin rate changes, and pitch usage shifts are leading indicators of decline or breakout.
Position Scarcity Adjustments
Catchers, shortstops, and elite closers receive scarcity premiums in the trade calculator. Rankings can be filtered by position, player type (hitter/pitcher/prospect), and format.
