Taking a QB in the first few rounds of your draft will secure your QB room for the season. There are 5 guys in the middle rounds of drafts who have league winning upside, but don’t come at the cost of those guys named above. If you can navigate the first few rounds without QB, and shore up your RB’s and WR’s. These guys can win you your league.
Jaxson Dart
• Jaxson Dart started his 2025 season on the bench behind Russell Wilson, and Jameis Winston and by week 4 became the starter. Unfortunately the same game we saw Dart debut with the Giants Malik Nabers also suffered a season ending injury. Even without Nabers, Jaxson was able to put up7 games with more than 20 points. If he can get back to that production in 2026, and add Nabers early in the season, this Dart will look sharp at the end of the season.
Justin Herbert
We’ve seen Justin Herbert ball out. In his sophomore season he finished as QB2 in fantasy. We’ve all heard about the arm talent, but the production hasn’t been where it was in year two. During the offseason we received the news of the addition of Mike McDaniel to this offense. With McDaniel as the OC, this is going to super charge the offense. With growth in the receiver room and a healthy offensive line, we could see Herbert return to what we saw at the beginning of his career.
Trevor Lawrence
Last season we saw Trevor Lawrence finish as QB4 and he’s currently going in drafts as the QB10-12. The upside for Lawrence is screaming at this draft position. With a banged up WR room last season Lawrence still had over 4,000 passing yards and 29 touchdowns. Last season Brian Thomas and Travis Hunter dealt with injuries throughout the season. With the offseason to get healthy, the offensive fire power is one of the deepest in the league. Lawrence also finished last season with 359 rushing yards and 9 rushing touchdowns. There are signs pointing to rushing touchdown regression, but with his 6’6” 220 lbs frame and his ability to get mobile when necessary, his rushing upside adds to this potential to finish as a top QB in 2026.
