A fair line for every bet
We remove the book's cut from the sharpest market we can read, so each side gets a true chance to win. That chance is the yardstick for every other price.

We take the vig out of the sharpest prices to get a fair line, then flag every book that pays more than fair. The gap is your edge, in points.
We remove the book's cut from the sharpest market we can read, so each side gets a true chance to win. That chance is the yardstick for every other price.
When one book's price implies a lower chance than fair, the bet is +EV. We list it with the book, the price and the edge in percent.
Each bet carries a quarter-Kelly stake sized to the edge, so a thin edge gets a small bet and a big edge gets a bigger one.
A 5.6% edge is real value, and it still loses 52% of the time. EV shows up over hundreds of bets, never one.
NBA prop bets our board flagged beat the closing line by 0.33 percentage points on average, and 54.4% of them beat it at all.
11,308 graded bets, Jun 14 to Oct 27, 2026. 3,440 more could not be graded, mostly because the close was stale. Results vary.
How closing-line value worksA bet whose price pays more than its true chance of winning is worth. If a side wins 50% of the time, any price above even money is +EV. We estimate the true chance from the sharpest market after removing the vig.
No. A +EV bet still loses often. The edge shows up over many bets, and a run of losses is normal. Nothing on Dynatyze guarantees a profit.
Every book our odds scan reads for that sport, including exchanges and prediction markets priced net of their fees. Sharp books set the fair line and are never shown as the best price to take.
We grade every flagged NBA prop bet against the closing line in our own ledger. Beating the close on average is the best evidence a price was good when you took it.
Dynatyze Betting is analytics and education for people 21 and over. It is not a sportsbook: no wager is ever placed on Dynatyze — the tools help you find and price the best available bet elsewhere. If gambling stops being fun, help is free and confidential at 1-800-GAMBLER.
