Every pick'em line against the sportsbooks' number for the same player, priced against each app's break-even.
The Scout’s Notebook
A pick'em gap is a player line on a pick'em app that sits off the sportsbooks' number for the same player and stat — the app at 24.5 receiving yards while the books sit at 26.5. A lower app number makes the over easier; a higher one makes the under easier.
Fair is the books' own price at the app's number with the vig taken out. Margin is that fair hit chance less the break-even per pick for the entry you are building — a 3-pick Power play that pays 6× needs each pick to hit 55.0% of the time. Choose Power or Flex and two to six picks above the rows and every margin re-grades.
Entries builds slips from the widest margins on each app, one pick per player, spread across games first; picks that move together are priced as a range. The Lag view times how long each app takes to move after the books move.
The fair stands on a single book. The hit chance still prints, in grey, but the board never ranks on it, never counts it as clearing the break-even and never builds it into an entry. Refine can hide those rows.
They sit off the books' number by design and pay a shifted price for it, so a line gap there is not a discrepancy. The Pick'em desk grades them.
The books moved this prop's main number and the app is still on its old line. The clock starts at the books' move, read from our stored line history, and is accurate to one scan.
